Today, we will be offering a few tips on ways to do the same. Do read on for further details.
How can opening up help you?
What is it that is bothering you at the work place? There might as well be so many of things! Corporate politics, rivalry, travesty of justice, hectic work schedule and what not! Your peace of mind is likely to get affected by all these factors at the first place. The very simple step you can take in your battle against deteriorating mental health is open up about your problems at the first place. That’s what your role models are doing (see above for reference). Talk it out …. With the exact person or persons you are having a problem with! If needed make sure you’re squeezing out time from your hectic schedule to join the mental health awareness campaigns to find out how people are actually opening up their mental problems and their ways of dealing with the same.
Have you considered digital detox?
Your mental well being is deeply affected by your inability to detach yourself from work. Your smartphones perhaps are the biggest sources of digital interruption. What about some post-work digital detox? It’s crucial to know when your work has actually started overwhelming you instead of enriching you. Go out for late evening walks. Leave your office on time. Do not even think of taking work at home.
Can company policies help?
Check out if the company you are working for is governed by due mental wellbeing policy outlines or not. Wellbeing policies do not shape culture change but actions do. There should be due differences between mental health and occupational physical support channels.
These are just a few ways with the help of which you will be able to ensure perfect mental wellbeing at office. Be sorted.
